About the jobAs the Director of Technical Program Management for Chrome & Web Ecosystem, you will have a direct influence on how we navigate the AI platform shift. You will lead a large, globally distributed organization of program managers, continuing to evolve the function's strategic impact, ensuring the team operates as a critical partner that empowers the Chrome organization to ship with greater focus, velocity, and quality.
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $272,000–$383,000 plus bonus and equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Lead, mentor, and grow a TPgM organization. Drive a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations for excellence and ensuring the team is focused on our most critical engineering and product priorities.
- Drive the execution strategy for critical AI launches and top-priority initiatives.
- Build the trust and mechanisms required to operate as a proactive, high-leverage partner. Work with VPs of Engineering and Product Management to identify risks early, rebalance resources, and ensure commitment integrity.
- Oversee Chrome's release management. Lead initiatives to adopt AI tooling and optimize core workflows (e.g., Taskflow, bug management, portfolio management) to increase legibility and enable faster decision-making and launches.
