Our Products and Services Marketplace (PSM) vision is to become the definitive B2B commerce platform for all organizations worldwide, empowering marketers, sellers, buyers, users and customers to drive better outcomes for themselves and their businesses. The PSM strategy recognizes that we will continue to deliver value to our LMS and LSS businesses, and that the lion’s share of our investment will be going to directly drive growth in these two areas.

In addition, we have identified two focus areas:
Marketing and Sales solutions for our customers. We are looking for a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our team to drive R&D initiatives across LMS, LSS and partner orgs.

Successful candidates will have a solid track record of program and project management and will have demonstrated excellent leadership, along with superior organizational and communication skills in leading teams and programs to deliver successful outcomes. In addition, the right candidate will possess superior B2B business strategy sense, product intuition, and technical understanding to fully integrate with product development teams and contribute at any level of depth.

This position will report into technical program management leadership within Linked In's engineering team.

Responsibilities
  • Drive program and portfolio planning, engineering operations, and strategic execution for Linked In’s Products and Services Marketplaces (PSM).
  • Lead end-to-end technical programs, navigating from conception and planning to delivery and measurable business impact.
  • Foster collaboration across cross‑functional technical teams to achieve objectives in fast‑paced, complex environments.
  • Build strong partnerships with engineering, product management, and VP‑level leadership to ensure alignment with PSM's broader business goals.
  • Define and manage a unified program roadmap, aligning team priorities with organizational strategy.
  • Take ownership of driving holistic decision‑making by analyzing risks, anticipating challenges, and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Enhance organizational processes and agile methodologies while championing continuous improvement and innovation across teams.
  • Mentor and coach teams in technical program management, fostering a culture of mastery, autonomy, and excellence.
  • Advocate for technical vision and guide teams through ambiguous challenges, integrating creative problem‑solving into program delivery.
  • Act as a bridge between diverse teams, empowering stakeholders to collaborate and drive outcomes that align with Linked In’s vision of economic opportunity for the global workforce.
Basic Qualifications
  • B.S./B.A. Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years professional experience in an engineering or technical team, of which at least 6+ years are managing technical programs/projects
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile Methods through multiple teams (Scrum, Kanban)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with large Consumer Products and Enterprise initiatives
