- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of program management experience within design or UX organizations.
- Experience with UX related projects and UX design, user research, or user centered development tools and methodologies.
- 7 years of experience in program management, operations, or a related field within a technology or creative environment.
- Experience managing UX projects and working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Design, Research, Engineering, Product).
- Experience with facilitation and stakeholder management.
- Experience with the product development lifecycle.

As a UX Program Manager (UX Programs and Operations), you will combine expert project management skills with a passion for user experience to help your team improve the design of products that are used by billions of users. You’ll plan projects, define milestones, assess risks, create actionable insights, and ensure projects meet deadlines. You’ll harmonize the work of UX Designers, Researchers, Content Strategists, UX Engineers, and other UX disciplines, while also working closely with our Engineering and Product Manager cross-functional partners, to drive UX team objectives and create innovative experiences for our business, products, and users.
As the UX Program Manager for the Consumer Payment Transactions team, you will drive operational and strategic initiatives to ensure the delivery of high‑quality, user‑centered experiences from concept to launch.
Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $151,000-$222,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
