About the Role

A nationally recognized law firm with a strong technology and life sciences focus is seeking junior to mid‑level associates to join its patent litigation practice. The team handles complex patent disputes across federal courts in the United States, as well as parallel post‑grant proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

The practice represents both patent holders and alleged infringers, with clients ranging from early‑stage companies to well‑established organizations in technology and life sciences–driven industries. The group is known for combining technical depth with practical business judgment to support litigation strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

• Support patent litigation matters in federal courts and administrative proceedings

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery materials

• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trial preparation

• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy

• Work directly with clients and technical experts as appropriate

Qualifications

• 1–6 years of patent litigation experience

• Strong academic credentials

• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

• Background or experience in technology or life sciences is helpful but not required

• Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of the office applied to, or eligibility to waive within 3–6 months

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not available)

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid schedule: 3 days per week in-office

• Relocation assistance available

• Bar exam sitting is not supported itz

Locations

Multiple major U.S. legal markets, including West Coast, East Coast, and Pacific Northwest offices.
