Procurement Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Ensure purchases of direct and indirect materials for the company.
• Savings in purchasing management.
• Delivery of raw material or components on time to meet internal and external customer requirements.
• Materials and reorder point planning
• Purchase order processing and tracking
• Attention and follow-up on issues related to purchases and suppliers (payments, approvals, rejections, etc.).
• TASKS
• Direct contact with suppliers.
• Perform activities to buy direct and non-productive material tooling,
• Perform market analysis and follow RFQ processes.
• Evaluate, assess and select suppliers according OR process.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers according needs.
• Search for costs reduction and different saving programs.
• Create and follow up delivery of purchase orders.
• Review general contracts and service agreements.
• Maintain integrity and accuracy of Master Data of supply chain in navision.
• Analyze material planning requirements on weekly basis.
• Follow core processes and work instructions
• Support inventory management strategy for Raw Material and Semi Finish products through accurate planning.
• Participate with engineering in technical changes to procurement of materials.
• Handle supply changes for new products introduction or transfers.
• Support Supply Chain Management projects implementation.
