Emergency Veterinary Clinical Supervisor

Schedule: Wednesday‑Saturday 3 pm – 1 am

Compensation: Initial hourly range $42.25 – $48.50 based on skillset and experience. Shift differentials:

  • 8 pm – 11 59 pm : base pay + $4 / hour
  • 12 am – 7 59 am : base pay + $6 / hour
  • Weekend (day or night) : base pay + $3 / hour + any applicable differential

What you’ll do
  • Escalates issues to Clinical Manager
  • Functions as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s)
  • Collaborates with other departments regarding patient and client needs
  • Prioritizes and organizes workflows for shift
  • Directly manages Clinical Services team members while on shift (manages early call‑ins, departures, sharing resources, breaks and lunches for team members)
  • Assigns team member responsibilities per shift
  • Addresses process or employee issues during shift
  • Communicates schedule changes, performance concerns and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinely
  • Serves as first‑level responder to client concerns and drug escalations
  • Trains and mentors new team members
  • Provides input to Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluations
  • Participates in on‑call responsibilities
  • Participates in management or administrative meeting(s) routinely
Who you are
  • Strong communication skills
  • Prior veterinary experience required, previous emergency experience desired
  • Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
  • Flexibility with work hours and ability to work additional hours when necessary
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written
