Emergency Veterinary Clinical Supervisor

Med Vet is a fast‑growing Emergency and Specialty provider with practices nationwide. We help our patients receive advanced medical treatments and innovations, including chemotherapy, radiation, cardiac ablations, glaucoma treatments, physical rehabilitation, dermatology and more. We look for collaborative, driven people to join our clinical team.

Schedule

Wednesday–Saturday 3 pm–1 am.

Compensation

Initial hiring range: $42.25 to $48.50 per hour, based on skillset and experience. We support evening and weekend caregivers with shift differentials:

  • 8 pm–11:59 pm: base pay + $4 / hour
  • 12 am–7:59 am: base pay + $6 / hour
  • Weekend (day or night): base pay + $3 / hour + any applicable differential
What you’ll do
  • Escalate issues to Clinical Manager
  • Act as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s)
  • Collaborate with other departments regarding patient and client needs
  • Prioritize and organize workflows for shift
  • Manage Clinical Services team members on shift, including early call‑ins, early departures, call‑offs, resource sharing, breaks and lunches
  • Assign team member responsibilities per shift
  • Address process or employee issues during shift
  • Communicate schedule changes, performance concerns and shift issues to Clinical Manager routinely
  • Serve as first‑level responder to client concerns and drug escalations
  • Train and mentor new team members
  • Provide input to Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluations
  • Participate in on‑call responsibilities
  • Participate in management or administrative meetings routinely
Who you are
  • Strong communication skills
  • Prior veterinary experience required, previous emergency experience desired
  • Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant‑rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
  • Flexible with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
