Verity Properties is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to join our team managing a portfolio of commercial properties interfacing with several clients (property owners), tenants, and vendors. Our service-oriented team focuses on tenant relations and high standards. In addition to lease administration, our Property Managers oversee daily operations, develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, develop and manage budgets, monthly financial reports, prepare CAM reconciliations and oversee tenant and capital improvement projects.

They perform periodic regular property inspections and recommend/approve alterations, maintenance and reconditioning as necessary. They contract for and supervise vendor services.

We perform no leasing and manage no residential properties.

We are a hybrid work environment and employees are in the office in Mountain View, California at least 50% of the time each day.

Experience/Requirements

• Commercial property management: office, industrial

• Lease administration and tenant relations

• Budgeting and budget management

• Calculation of CAM estimates and reconciliations (OPEX recoveries) with base years and expense caps

• Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar property management software

The successful candidate will

• Be self-motivated and possess strong management skills

• Be able to adapt to a changing environment

• Understand the math behind recoveries and budgeting

• Have good organizational skills and detail orientation

• Work well in a team

• Be self-aware and able to perform work independently

• Have outstanding written and spoken communication skills in English

• Have or acquire a California Real Estate Salesperson or Broker license within one year of beginning work.

• Be able to travel briefly Oregon, typically up to once per quarter.
