We are currently seeking an experienced full‑time Executive Protection Assistant Team Lead (HALO) with high integrity and professionalism to join our team in the Bay Area, California.

You will be working on uniquely assigned projects under the guidance of your Program Manager for our various Silicon Valley clients. In your day‑to‑day role as an Executive Protection Assistant Team Lead (HALO), you will assist in acting as a liaison between Surefox and its clients while providing close protection for C‑Level executives and their families. You will perform all duties in accordance with client policies and procedures, Surefox policies and procedures, and all state & federal regulations.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing safe and secure vehicle transportation for C‑Level executives and their families; responding to emergency events as well as medical & non‑medical issues; providing physical security; addressing staffing deficiencies; handling client requests in a timely manner; and any other tasks assigned by program leadership. We are looking for someone who has exceptional multitasking skills, pays close attention to detail, and works independently on assignments.

On occasion, this position requires coordination and collaboration with supporting or adjacent teams, agencies, or vendors to ensure client security requirements are met in a timely and professional manner. The selected individual must be flexible and able to respond to dynamic situations with sound judgment and the ability to perform duties on a national and international level.

What You Will Do
  • Responsible for client and family physical safety as well as the safeguarding of client assets
  • Develop relationships with clients, facilitate collaboration, and influence informally across different departments within the team
  • Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot and/or vehicle while monitoring access as needed
  • Watch for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergency situations on‑site as needed
  • Coordinate with emergency services and law enforcement agencies as necessary
  • Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company and/or client property
  • Provide incident detection capabilities to the client as requested
  • Conduct ongoing threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments
  • Operate motor vehicles safely and legally
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of local emergency services, routes, and points of interest within the area of responsibility
  • Operate in a low‑profile, low‑footprint capacity
  • Provide physical security or overwatch of assigned clients
  • Manage, track and report program performance assurance and compliance requirements within the provided guidelines
  • Assist in managing the Executive Protection Program team schedule
  • Update and maintain the Executive Protection Program SOPs
  • Assist with managing the program vehicle fleet
  • Manage and monitor surveillance equipment and access points
  • Maintain and update logs with pertinent activity observed related to the assigned client
  • Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
  • Provide assistance to employees and create a safe and friendly environment for visitors and clients in a professional manner
  • Attend project meetings upon request to assess the security implications of proposed changes
  • Work independently and adapt to varying operational tempo while maintaining a high level of situational awareness
  • Follow Executive Protection Operating Procedures and Guidelines
  • Comply with Surefox Policy and Procedures
What Is Required
  • Must have a current California BSIS guard card or be eligible to qualify for guard card
  • Must be eligible for employment within the United States
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines
  • Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening
  • Must have at least 4 years of physical security experience
  • Must have a high school degree or equivalent
