We are a diverse and experienced group of passionate and curious designers, builders, engineers, product developers, and business people who are passionate about and committed to delivering on our mission. If you share the desire to leave a lasting positive impact on the world and to join a strong culture of intelligent, passionate people, then let’s start a conversation.

What you will be responsible for:

We are looking for a highly experienced, journeyman-level electrician to join our field team. In this role, you will take ownership of the full scope of electrical work across our single-family residential job sites—from rough-in through final trim including temporary and permanent power infrastructure. You will be expected to work independently, bring deep knowledge of residential electrical systems, and serve as an expert resource to other site crew members.

A license is not required, but journeyman-level experience is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Champion Jobsite Safety:
Consistently model and reinforce safe work practices, including use of PPE, compliance with OSHA standards, and proactive hazard identification and mitigation.
  • Conduct Pre-Task Safety Planning:
Lead or participate in daily safety huddles and job hazard analyses specific to electrical scopes to ensure all team members are aware of risks and controls.
  • Lead Electrical Installation:
Plan and execute full electrical system installation in new residential construction, including conduit, wiring, panels, grounding systems, service masts, pull boxes, devices, and fixtures, ensuring compliance with design documents and NEC standards.
  • System Testing and Inspections:
Perform site system testing on all electrical systems to ensure everything is wired properly and in working order. Facilitate rough-in and final city inspections with the site superintendent.
  • Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
Identify and resolve complex electrical issues across all phases of construction with minimal supervision.
  • System Integration:
Support integration of smart home systems, backup power, solar-ready infrastructure, and high-efficiency electrical components.
  • Site Preparation & Coordination:
Work with the site team and materials team to plan layout and sequencing for rough-in and final installation, ensuring seamless coordination with other trades (framing, plumbing, HVAC).
  • Tool and Equipment Oversight:
Maintain high standards for tool use, organization, and upkeep; ensure testing equipment is calibrated and functioning.
  • Prevent Rework & Improve the Product:
Apply a quality-first mindset to the work, identifying potential issues early and communicating proactively with other trades, supervisors, and design team to drive design and product improvement.
  • Lean Construction Participation:
Contribute to Lean Construction workflows by identifying areas to reduce waste, improve flow, and prevent rework.
  • Mentorship &

    Collaboration:

Provide technical guidance and informal mentorship to less experienced crew members. Maintain open communication with the Site Foreman to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Journeyman-Level

    Experience:

Minimum 7 years of residential electrical experience with proven expertise in new single-family home construction.
