The Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mobile Developer with a strong focus on React Native to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and enhancing our mobile applications, bringing critical features like patient engagement and communication directly to the fingertips of healthcare providers. You will work on a product that directly impacts how doctors manage their practices and interact with patients, ensuring a seamless, high-performance, and intuitive mobile experience.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and Maintain :
  Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable React Native applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Feature Implementation :
  Translate UI/UX designs and product requirements into clean, well-structured, and efficient code, focusing on features related to patient communication, scheduling, and practice management.
• API Integration :
  Integrate mobile applications with our backend services and third-party APIs to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
• Performance Optimization :
  Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring smooth animations, fast load times, and a responsive user experience across various devices.
• Code Quality :
  Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards. Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and knowledge sharing.
• Testing :
  Implement unit and integration tests to ensure the robustness, usability, and reliability of the application.
• Collaboration :
  Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging :
  Diagnose and resolve bugs and performance issues, ensuring a stable and reliable mobile application.

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development, with a strong emphasis on React Native.
• Deep understanding of the React Native ecosystem, including component lifecycle, state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, React Context), and Hooks.
• Experience with native module development in iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and/or Android (Java/Kotlin) is a plus, for cases where native functionality is required.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and integrating with backend services.
• Familiarity with mobile UI/UX best practices and a strong commitment to creating intuitive and visually appealing applications.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and well-documented code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with mobile testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox).
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile deployments.
• Prior experience in the healthcare technology (Health Tech) sector.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

Compensation:

The compensation for this position will range from 8.5 to 12 LPA depending on experience. This is a contract position with a potential to become full-time.
