Sr Java Backend Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a backend Sr. Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java back-end dev with Java AWS, Postgres dynamo db spring boot and Kafka. The model is hybrid with no travel required and day shifts.

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java back-end dev with Java AWS Postgres dynamo db spring boot and Kafka.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement scalable and efficient software architecture.
• Ensure the quality of performance and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle and improve deployment efficiency.
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements by translating them into technical specifications.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and performance issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, incorporating them into the development process as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software designs, code, and processes.
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Domain:
  Payments, Issuance, Card Processing. Intuit fintech and dev environment knowledge is a plus.
