Title: Java Backend Developer

Location: Mountain View, CA (Onsite)

Contract: Long Term Contract

We are seeking a backend Sr. Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java back‑end development with AWS, Postgres, Dynamo

DB, Spring Boot, and Kafka. The model is hybrid with no travel required and day shifts.

• Develop and maintain high‑quality software solutions using Java back‑end development with AWS, Postgres, Dynamo
  
  DB, Spring Boot and Kafka.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement scalable and efficient software architecture.
• Proven track record of designing, building and maintaining complex RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Ensure the quality of performance and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle and improve deployment efficiency.
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements by translating them into technical specifications.
• Monitor and optimize application performance identifying and resolving bottlenecks and performance issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies incorporating them into the development process as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software designs, code and processes.
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to manage and maintain cloud infrastructure ensuring high availability and scalability.
• In‑depth knowledge of distributed systems, cloud‑native applications, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with development tools such as Git, Jira and Jenkins.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools and methodologies.
• Domain:
  Payments, Issuance, Card Processing. Intuit fintech and dev environment knowledge is a plus.

• Possess strong technical skills in AWS EC2, Spring Boot, Microservices, Dynamo
  
  DB, J2EE and AWS IoT.
• Demonstrate extensive experience in Product Lifecycle Management and its application in software development.
• Exhibit excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Show proficiency in designing and implementing scalable and efficient software architectures.
• Have a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their role in the software development lifecycle.
• Display strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Maintain a proactive approach to learning and staying current with industry trends and technologies.
