Engineering Manager, Data Platform

In this role, you will lead a team of A+ engineers who are passionate about building highly scalable distributed systems, and contribute to the open‑source Apache Pinot software in addition to the following areas:

• Query engine optimization, compilation, and execution
• Data ingestion, storage, modeling, and indexing services
• Building scalable, low latency, distributed systems
• Creating automation and abstraction self‑service tooling

• 8+ years of experience in building/operating distributed systems engineering, 5+ years as a technical lead or manager
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, OLTP and/or OLAP databases, real‑time analytics, or streaming systems
• Ability to balance technical depth with people leadership and execution management
