We are an established AAA Emergency Roadside Service Independent contractor, in the industry for over 40 years. As an emergency roadside service technician, you will be driving a company vehicle from call to call and helping people in need.
We have facilities in Richmond/Berkeley, South San Francisco and the Sunnyvale/South Bay Area.
We're looking for dedicated, customer service minded Emergency Roadside Service Technicians who want to start a career in an essential industry. Fortes Brothers Inc. offers competitive starting pay with performance incentives. You will be trained by award winning trainers, be certified as level 1 tow operator and or a battery certified technician.
Responsibilities- Drive a company vehicle from call to call to assist customers in need.
- Perform emergency roadside services such as unlocking vehicles, jump-starts, tire changes, battery installation/maintenance, and securing vehicles on tow trucks.
- Assist with loading/unloading and securing equipment as needed.
- Clean DMV record and drug-free
- Passing a background check
- Strong customer service mindset and eagerness to excel
- Ability to lift, load, install batteries and properly secure vehicles on a tow truck
- Ability to perform unlocks, jump-starts, and tire changes
- Earn $20.50 base and up to $23.50 per hour with incentive pay
- Earnings from customer tips (typical ranges vary, e.g., $100–$300 per paycheck)
- Casual work attire with company-provided safety vest, hoodie, polo shirts, hats and pants; option to wear dark blue jeans
- Medical Kaiser coverage at 90% by the company

Having a clean DMV record, being drug-free, passing a background check, having a great personality, and an eagerness to be great are required. Ability to lift, load, install batteries and securely handle vehicles on a tow truck, unlock vehicles, provide jump-starts and tire changes.
