About the Role

Under the direct supervision of an executive or department leader, this position provides administrative support for the executive and the department.

Creates and executes on the bank’s digital strategy to drive brand visibility, customer engagement, and related initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Word processing, filing, and scheduling.
  • Perform moderately complex analysis.
  • Author executive summaries.
  • Coordinate meetings and conferences.
  • Obtain supplies.
  • Coordinate direct mailings.
  • Answer non‑routine correspondence and assemble highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Deal with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.
  • Plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.
  • Prepare and manage expense reports.
  • Arrange and coordinate executive travel.
  • Recommend changes in office practices or procedures.
  • Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job functions and continuously update knowledge through coursework and on‑the‑job training.
  • Follow all bank policies, procedures, and compliance regulations, and complete all required annual or job‑specific training.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of bank policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, bank security, and other relevant regulations.
  • May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others as a subject‑matter expert.
  • Actively learn, demonstrate, and foster the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words.
  • Takes personal initiative and serves as a positive example for others.

  • May perform other duties as assigned.
About You – Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Five years of administrative work experience required; five years supporting executives preferred.
  • Strong skills in spelling, punctuation, and business English.
  • Strong understanding of business mathematics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain records.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to handle and process confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Proven experience handling and interpreting complex matters in accordance with bank policy.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Pay Range

$30.00 - $37.00 per hour.

The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non‑discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, details of which will be provided during the recruitment process.

Primary Location

Ability to work fully onsite at 24120 Van Ry Boulevard, 1st Floor, Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043.
