Each and every team member plays a vital role in our success. We are rapidly expanding and looking for a professional, self‑motivated individual to fill the role of Area Sales Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance, monitoring of sales representatives
  • Build and promote strong, long‑lasting relationships by partnering with sales team and understanding what they need to become successful.
  • Identify areas of growth within current customer base as well as develop new business.
  • Leadership

    Skills:

    Motivate team members, working with them to set and meet sales goals. resolve conflicts.
  • Analytical

    Skills:

    Take sales numbers and analyze them to find opportunities for growth
  • Customer Service:
    The ability to speak with dissatisfied customers and resolve issues.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Ability to be a good listener and speaker, to help customers and employees understand your direction and recommendations. Both verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to communicate and work with other department leads.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain and promote workplace safety
  • Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales Management in a highly competitive market; prior success selling wholesale auto parts particularly in aftermarket industry preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in prospecting new business and closing sales with installers, fleets, municipalities and car dealerships a plus.
  • Formal education in sales/ technical related area highly desirable.
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Time management with ability to multitask a plus.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives.
  • Position requires an individual with an outgoing and assertive personality to take initiative, be pro‑active, be very positive, and have a “can‑do / seize‑the‑day” type attitude.

  • Must be proficient in Google Applications in addition to some Microsoft Office products like Word and Excel.
  • Bilingual in Spanish would be a plus.
  • General automotive knowledge helpful.
