Manufacturing Material Planner (SAP, CMMS),

Our leading manufacturing client is seeking an experienced Material Planner to join their maintenance and engineering team.

• National Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering, OR N6 with completed Trade Test
• 3–5 years' experience in Maintenance Planning, Engineering Maintenance or Asset Management within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with CMMS systems, maintenance scheduling and shutdown planning
• Strong knowledge of preventative, corrective and statutory maintenance planning
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook and planning tools)

• Plan and schedule preventative, corrective, statutory and project-related maintenance activities
• Coordinate weekly maintenance plans, maintenance days and annual shutdowns
• Prepare detailed work orders, job plans and resource requirements
• Manage maintenance backlogs and track PM compliance
• Coordinate planning inputs across maintenance, production, engineering, SHEQ and contractors
• Monitor spares availability, resource requirements and shutdown readiness
• Maintain accurate CMMS records and maintenance history
• Compile planning, backlog, compliance and shutdown reports

• Strong planning and scheduling abilities
• Excellent organisational and coordination skills
• Ability to prioritise work based on risk, production impact and equipment criticality
• Strong analytical and reporting capability
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
