Junior Librarian (Muharraq, Bahrain)

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Junior Librarian to join our team in Muharraq, Bahrain. As a Junior Librarian, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of library resources and providing support to library users.

This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$.

• Assisting in the acquisition, cataloging, and circulation of library materials
• Providing reference and research assistance to library users
• Maintaining accurate records of library materials and transactions
• Ensuring the smooth operation of library equipment and systems
• Assisting with organizing and promoting library events and programs
• Collaborating with other librarians to develop collections and services that meet the needs of the community

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
• Knowledge of library systems and procedures
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting

• Experience working in a library or similar setting
• Familiarity with electronic resources and digital technologies
• Fluency in Arabic or other languages commonly spoken in Bahrain
