Library Assistant

We are hiring a Library Assistant to join our team at a prestigious library in Muharraq. As a Library Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the Librarian in managing the day-to-day operations of the library.

This is a full-time job with a salary of 1700$.

We welcome applicants without experience, as we provide on-the-job training. We also offer accommodation and can help with visa arrangements.

• Assist in cataloguing, sorting, and shelving books and other materials
• Help patrons locate books and resources within the library
• Process new materials and maintain accurate records of borrowed items
• Provide basic reference and research assistance to library users
• Assist with organizing and promoting library events and programs
• Ensure the library is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
• Basic computer skills (knowledge of library management software is preferred)
• Ability to lift and move heavy books or materials
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Friendly, approachable demeanor with a passion for helping others
