Purpose
Senior Sales Proposals Engineer will identify, propose and support opportunities related to systems Projects (SCADA, DCS, ESD Systems). The engineer will be based in Bahrain, responsible for systems business support across the assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities- Understand customer requirements and propose winning techno-commercial solutions.
- Perform site surveys to understand requirements.
- Carry out techno-commercial discussions with clients.
- Understand competition solutions and propose the right winning solution.
- Make sales presentations to customers.
- Identify and bring in new sales leads related to systems projects opportunities on assigned territory.
- Bachelor engineering degree (Instrumentation & Control or Electronics & Communication Engineering).
- Minimum 9 years’ experience in sales/proposals of RTU/PLC, SCADA/ESD/DCS solutions in Oil & Gas/Process industries.
- Self-motivated.
- Technical background with strong sales orientation.
- Positive attitude, willing to learn and flexible.
- Good analytical skills with strong logical thinking and tactful approach.
- Self-starter competent to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Very good communication in English;
Arabic / French. - Flexible to work extended hours as per demand of job.
- 30-40% travel in Middle East market anticipated.
