Surveyor Assistant/Technician

The Surveyor Assistant/Technician will work alongside a team of experienced surveyors to assist in the collection and analysis of data related to land, construction, and engineering projects in Muharraq. This is an urgent position that requires a highly motivated individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in surveying or a related field, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with various types of equipment and software.

• Assist in conducting surveys using various techniques such as total stations, GPS, and laser scanners
• Record accurate data and measurements using specialized equipment
• Assist in analyzing survey data and creating detailed maps, plans, and reports
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
• Maintain and calibrate survey equipment
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and contractors regarding project details
• Perform quality control checks on collected data

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Previous experience in surveying or a related field
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS units, and laser scanners
• Proficiency in computer software programs such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, or similar software
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Excellent communication skills (English proficiency preferred)
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

The starting salary for this position is $1300 per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of employment.

This position will be located in Muharraq, Bahrain.
