AI Engineer (Applied/Software)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy new features and enhancements for the existing SCM system, utilizing React.js, Angular, .NET 8 / .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, Microsoft SQL DB, Microsoft Azure, SAP S4/Hana Integration, Data Analytics and Dashboard Development, following Software Engineering Practices (e.g., Agile/Scrum Methodology).
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide L1/L2 application support and coordinate with vendors for L3/L4 support.
- Develop integrations with SAP, SharePoint, Power BI, and other enterprise systems.
- Support SCM migration and digital transformation initiatives.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and management reports.
- Ensure cybersecurity compliance, secure coding practices, and system reliability.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
- Deliver user training and maintain technical documentation.
Support digital transformation initiatives and participate in development of new business applications and internal tools. Contribute to software architecture and technology evaluations. Support Yokogawa enterprise application strategy and modernization roadmap. Provide technical leadership for future internal system implementation and migration projects.
Qualifications- Bachelor degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of software development experience.
- Experience with enterprise applications, workflow systems, SQL migration, ERP, or SCM is mandatory.
- Core Development: C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, REST APIs and System Integration, Git / Version Control, Azure Dev Ops (Preferred).
- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning: Machine Learning Fundamentals, Generative AI, Azure OpenAI Services, Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, AI-Powered Application Development, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Chatbot Development, Model Integration via APIs, Data Preprocessing & Feature Engineering, Predictive Analytics.
- Data Science & Analytics: Python for AI/ML (Pandas, Num Py, Scikit-learn), Data Visualization, Statistical Analysis.
- Cloud & AI Platforms: Microsoft Azure AI Services, Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, AI Solution Integration.
