Baker, Restaurant​/Food Service

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Baker to join our team in Muharraq, Bahrain. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods such as bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies. You will work with a team and report to the Head Baker.

• Prepare and bake various types of bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies according to recipes
• Decorate pastries and desserts with icing, glazes, toppings, or fillings
• Ensure quality control by inspecting ingredients for freshness and measuring accurately
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Collaborate with other team members to create new recipes and menu items
• Keep work area clean and organized at all times
• Follow baking schedules and production guidelines to meet customer demands
• Assist in training new bakers when needed

• Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef
• Knowledge of different baking techniques and methods
• Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
• Creativity in decorating pastries and desserts
• Strong attention to detail
• Good time management skills in order to meet production deadlines
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Physically fit as this job involves standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects
• Availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Preference given to female candidates
