We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer service-driven Cashier to join our team on a part-time contract basis in Muharraq, Bahrain. As a Cashier, your main responsibilities will include processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, and providing excellent customer service. This is an ideal job for students or individuals looking for a flexible work schedule.

• Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
• Scan items and process payments using cash registers
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift
• Ensure that all prices and products are accurately labeled
• Keep checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies
• Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, exchanges, etc.
• Upsell products and services to customers as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Excellent math skills to handle cash transactions accurately
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers effectively
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
