This role is part of our Space and Launch business, which has contributed to the nation’s space programs for decades by delivering complete solutions from concept to flight. We enable successful space operations with mission-critical technology supporting every step from first launch to final landing, including launch vehicle subsystems, propulsion systems, aerodynamic and interstage systems, and payload protection and deployment. Our high-performance solutions are engineered to operate in the most extreme environments and meet precise mission requirements.

In this role, you support engineering program management by creating, updating, and maintaining detailed program schedules. You collaborate closely with Program Managers and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, integrate customer schedules, evaluate schedule logic, and help ensure full visibility into program milestones and critical paths. Your work strengthens coordination between engineering, planning, and manufacturing teams while supporting internal and external reporting needs.

Responsibilities

  • Supports implementation and maintenance of program schedules, primarily using Microsoft Project.
  • Works with Program Managers and IPT Leads to ensure program schedules are complete, accurate, and current.
  • Integrates customer schedules, develops internal schedules from provided inputs, and delivers detailed schedules to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reviews schedule logic to confirm alignment between detailed plans and the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Conducts schedule deep dives to coordinate internal activities and assess impacts of changes requiring IMS updates.
  • Assists Program Managers in developing and maintaining status reports for stakeholder communication.
  • Runs critical path status reports and identifies schedule risks.
  • Identifies resource conflicts and collaborates with Program Managers to support resource leveling.
  • Analyzes schedule performance and develops recovery options for variances or slipped milestones.
  • Works with Engineering, Planning, and Manufacturing teams for visibility into project milestones.
  • Interfaces with customer project teams to ensure alignment between internal and customer schedules.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two or more years of professional experience using Microsoft Project at an advanced level.
  • Familiarity with building and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in accordance with DI‑MGMT‑81650.
  • Strong work ethic and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
  • A current U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
