• includes manufacturing engineering i, ii and iii duties and responsibilities
• integral part of product design team leading dfma aspects of product design
• applies broad knowledge of manufacturing knowledge of principles and practices
• mentors junior manufacturing engineers
• is subject matter expert on dfma as well and statistical process controls for monitoring process robustness
• oversees material and resource planning and coordination to ensure schedules are kept
• responsible for manufacturing work flow planning, resource planning and production line capacity in conjunction with planned forecasts
• responsible for solving complex technical problems in timely fashion utilizing necessary resources to keep product design, development and production moving forward
• oversees process qualification along with product qualification

• required education: bachelor of science in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent degree
• minimum 6 years relevant industry experience
• demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude required and hands-on engineering experience in a fabrication and assembly shop environment
• ability to read and generate blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams
• familiarity with basic material properties, in process verification and validation
• must be proficient in gd&t
• must be a u.s. Citizen

salary range: $120k-$155k

the actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
