THIS IS AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION
As a Production Kitter, you will be responsible for supporting our team with the flow of materials and products. Our team performs final assembly and upholstery for furniture products for the hospitality and retail industries, as well as creating highly engineered subcomponents built of foam for aerospace upholstery products. Individuals in this position are comfortable using hand tools, able to read and comprehend production notes, and able to follow directions to maintain our high-quality standards.
Individuals who thrive in this environment are systematic thinkers, quick learners, and love to work with their hands.
Regular schedule is 5:45 AM - 4:15 PM, Monday - Thursday. Potential overtime opportunities on Fridays.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties- Improve your processes and yourself each day.
- Operate within a team atmosphere to complete a product.
- Utilize different types of tools and fasteners.
- Stand for the duration of a 10-hour shift.
- Able to lift 50 lbs frequently.
- Inspect final product for defects prior to shipment.
- Learn and do continuous improvement activities.
- Perform packaging of assembled products.
- Able to read and comprehend production notes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the team.
