Whether it be with our customers, vendors, or employees, we are looking for individuals who can partner with us in our goal to put people first and create quality products. As a Sewing Technician, you would be part of our team responsible for sewing components that are a subassembly for finished parts. Individuals in this position are comfortable using sewing machines, able to read and comprehend production notes, and able to follow directions to maintain our high-quality standards.

Sewing Technicians who thrive in this work environment are systematic thinkers, quick learners, and love to work with their hands.

Regular schedule is 5:45 AM - 4:15 PM, Monday - Thursday. Potential overtime opportunities on Fridays.

• Operate single needle, double needle, and serger machine
• Be able to trace patterns and cut material by hand where necessary
• Operate a sewing machine for a 10-hour shift
• Improve your processes and yourself each day

Kaas Tailored is a growing, world-class manufacturing company located in Mukilteo, WA and for the last 50 years, we have built high-quality furnishings for airplanes, homes, and commercial environments. In an effort to love our employees better, we do things a little differently by training our teams in the use of lean principles and by providing the tools and skills necessary to improve their work and remove burden from processes.

• Starting wage of $18.75 per hour with a clear path for wage growth.
• Paid Time Off (PTO)
• Under 12 months: 1 hour PTO for every 30 worked.
• After 1 Year: 70 hours PTO
• After 3 Years: 110 hours PTO
• After 5 Years: 120 hours + 30 hours paid Holiday during Christmas week
• Holidays:
  New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are paid for 10 hours after 1 month of employment.
• Medical/Dental/Vision Benefits:
  Eligible for coverage on the 1st day of the month following completion of 60 days of employment.
• Tuition Assistance:
  Eligible after 6 months of employment.
• 401(k):
  Employer match based on the profitability of the company.
• Technology Reimbursement:
  Eligible after 1 year of employment.
