Machine Service Technician

The Machine Service Technician maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Responsible for day-to-day service, diagnostics, maintenance, repair and movement of company-owned machines. Reports to the Facilities Manager.

6:00 AM to 4:30 PM 4/10

• Ensures operation of mechanical/electro‑mechanical equipment, machinery, material processing & cutting machines, basic pneumatic tools/lines
• Assesses and completes diagnostics and preventive maintenance
• Oversees new installations, movement of machines, calibration, set up and leveling
• Coordinates services with outside vendors as needed
• Responsible for tracking, scheduling and documenting all preventative maintenance in accordance with company policy
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Required
  
  Education:
  
  High School Diploma
• Preferred Experience:
  
  5+ years installing, maintaining and/or repairing a variety of machinery
• Strong diagnostic troubleshooting and repair skills
• Knowledge of associated tools and test equipment
• Proficient at reading and following diagrams, manufacturer’s instructions and engineering specifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong time management skills
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook a plus)
• This position requires the use of stairs, and occasionally lifting objects up to 50lbs
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• This position requires the use of stairs, and occasionally lifting objects up to 95 lbs
