Accounting Intern

Company Description  Brahmani Gems  is a reputed diamond and jewelry manufacturing company known for quality, precision, and ethical business practices. We are looking for a motivated  Accountant Intern  who is eager to learn and gain hands-on experience in accounting operations, compliances, and stock-related financial activities within the diamond and jewelry industry.

Role Description As an Accountant Intern, you will work closely with the accounts team and gain practical exposure to core accounting functions, including:

• Assisting in day-to-day accounting operations

• Supporting GST filing, GST reconciliation, and compliance activities

• Helping update and maintain vendor diamond stock records

• Assisting in stock valuation of diamonds and jewelry

• Supporting daily and monthly bank reconciliation

• Assisting in preparation of MIS reports, basic P&L data, and financial summaries

• Coordinating with internal teams, auditors, and banks when required

• Assisting with accounts receivable and payable tracking

• Working extensively on Excel for data entry, reconciliation, and reporting

• Identifying and reporting accounting or financial discrepancies
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (or currently pursuing)

• Basic understanding of accounting principles

• Knowledge of Tally ERP (preferred)

• Working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables preferred)

• Interest in the diamond and jewelry industry is an advantage

• CA Inter / Article ship exposure is an added advantage

• Good communication and analytical skills

• Willingness to learn and ability to work with accuracy
