GL Accounting

Role & responsibilities
The GL resource is a key member of the accounting team, supporting the Country Finance Manager in all key financial matters and timely closure of books, GL month end activities. This role will contributes significantly to delivering value for both the Sodexo Internal client and Sodexo India

Rectification/ reclass entries
Cost & Material Allocation
Inventory Accounting
Intercompany Accounting
Bank reconciliation
Payroll Accounting
All Accrual & prepaid expense booking & tracking
Fixed Asset Accounting
Collection Accounting
Vendor Reconciliation
Petty Cash Accounting
Internal management reporting
Adhoc reporting
IFRS 16 Accounting
Month end reporting pack
Balance Sheet Analysis
Participate in Country review calls
Drive Countries to perform timely & accurate submissions of Sodexo Connections reporting
Other Standard packs to be coordinated with Clients team
Educated to degree or equivalent standard with an accounting qualification.
Proven track record in finance minimum 3-5 years experience, ideally in an international environment
Ability to engage positively with Sodexo finance teams

Experience of GL activities & strong excel skills necessary
Desirable to have some past commercial exposure as Business Partner to Operations

Hands on pro-active approach with an ability to work well autonomously
Ability to work in a collaborative way, cross-culturally
Preferred candidate profile
M.Com /CA Inter with 4-5 yrs of work exp.
Good knowledge of English
Good leadership and motivational skills
Analytical & Reporting skills - Excellent in reporting numbers
