Role Overview

The Executive – Finance (AR) will be responsible for managing and tracking the company’s incoming payments while ensuring accurate and timely collection of receivables. The role includes reconciling customer accounts, monitoring outstanding balances, following up on overdue payments, and preparing daily/weekly AR reports. The candidate will support cash-flow management, maintain customer ledger accuracy, and collaborate closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to resolve billing or payment discrepancies.

Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and proficiency in accounting systems and Excel are essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and track all incoming payments and ensure timely collection of receivables.
- Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate, up-to-date ledgers.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with clients for overdue payments.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly AR reports for internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with sales, operations, and finance teams to resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
- Support cash-flow planning by ensuring consistent payment cycles and reducing ageing.
- Validate invoices, credit notes, and adjustments with accuracy.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Requirements

- B.Com graduate with 1–3 years of total experience (minimum 2 years in Accounts Receivables preferred).
- Strong understanding of receivables, reconciliations and customer account management.
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with accounting/ERP systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical ability and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication skills with the ability to follow up professionally with clients.
- Problem-solver who can independently manage deadlines and payment cycles.
- Organized, dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
