About the Role
Virtual Construct is hiring a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support the Financial Controller in managing day-to-day accounting operations for U.S.

-based construction clients. This role focuses on accurate bookkeeping, reconciliations, and operational accounting in compliance with U.S. GAAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily bookkeeping records (GL, AP, AR)
• Process vendor bills, customer invoices, and payments
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

• Assist with month-end close and supporting schedules

• Support job cost tracking, WIP schedules, and expense allocation

• Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready records

• Assist with payroll inputs and expense reimbursements

• Prepare basic financial reports and summaries

• Work on accounting systems such as Quick Books / Foundation ERP

• Coordinate with internal teams and U.S.

-based CPAs as needed

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce

• 2–4 years of bookkeeping or junior accounting experience

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and reconciliations

• Experience with accounting software and Excel

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred

• Experience with U.S.

-based clients

• Exposure to construction accounting, job costing, or WIP

• Familiarity with U.S. GAAP
