Role Description  This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Accountant will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. The role includes preparing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing. The Accountant will support the preparation of financial reports and statements, ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and external stakeholders.

The position also involves maintaining accurate documentation, improving internal controls, and providing financial data needed for management decisions.

Qualifications
Strong foundation in accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, or similar) and MS Excel.
Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledgers.
Knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance relevant to logistics or industrial sectors.
Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze financial data, prepare summaries, and support budgeting and forecasting.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
