We are hiring a  Lead Admissions Counselor  to play a pivotal role in driving enrolments for postgraduate programs while delivering a thoughtful, student-centric admissions experience. This role sits at the intersection of counselling, relationship management, and outcome-driven enrolment strategy.

You will act as a trusted guide for prospective students—helping them navigate academic choices, evaluate career outcomes, and successfully transition from enquiry to enrolment. The role requires maturity, empathy, and strong execution discipline, balancing enrolment goals with ethical counselling standards.

Key Responsibilities
Admissions Advisory & Student Engagement
Engage with prospective postgraduate students via calls, virtual consultations, and in-person meetings.

Assess academic background, career aspirations, and personal goals to recommend the most relevant programs.

Explain program value propositions clearly, including curriculum depth, learning outcomes, faculty credentials, fees, scholarships, and career pathways.

Build long-term trust with applicants through transparent, outcome-focused guidance.

Convert qualified leads into confirmed enrolments through structured and consultative follow-ups.

End-to-End Admissions Ownership
Own the complete admissions journey—from first enquiry to final confirmation.

Drive timely application submissions by coordinating document collection, assessments, interviews, and fee payments.

Monitor applicant progress and proactively remove bottlenecks in the enrolment funnel.

Maintain accurate records and pipeline visibility in CRM and admissions systems.

Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with academic teams to stay aligned on program updates, intake criteria, and selection processes.

Coordinate with finance and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and orientation for enrolled students.

Act as a single point of contact for applicants and parents, addressing concerns with clarity and professionalism.

Quality, Experience & Continuous Improvement
Deliver a consistently high-quality admissions experience aligned with institutional values.

Share applicant insights, objections, and market feedback with leadership to improve enrolment strategies.

Contribute to refining counselling scripts, FAQs, and admissions workflows.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Must-Have
3–6 years of experience in admissions counselling, education sales, or student advisory roles (PG programs preferred).

Strong consultative selling skills with a student-first, outcome-oriented mindset.

Proven ability to manage targets while maintaining ethical and transparent counselling practices.

Excellent communication, follow-up discipline, and objection-handling capabilities.

High emotional intelligence, empathy, and professionalism when engaging with students and parents.

Good to Have
Experience in premium higher education institutions or postgraduate-focused edtech platforms.

Familiarity with CRM tools and structured admissions pipelines.

Exposure to counselling for career-oriented or executive education programs.
