About the Role
Upstep Academy is looking for a high-caliber  International Master (IM)  or  Grand master (GM)  to join our coaching faculty. We have a dedicated cohort of ambitious, FIDE-rated students who are hungry to sharpen their opening repertoires, refine their endgame technique, and cross the next rating threshold.
We aren't just looking for a strong player; we are looking for a mentor who can translate complex strategic concepts into actionable insights for evolving minds.

Key Responsibilities
Advanced Training:  Conduct high-level training sessions for FIDE-rated students
Game Analysis:  Review student tournament games to identify recurring weaknesses and provide structured feedback.
Progress Tracking:  Work closely with the Academy leadership to monitor student growth and adjust training intensity as needed.
Requirements
Official FIDE

Title:

Must hold the  International Master (IM)  title (Grandmasters are also highly encouraged to apply).
Coaching Track Record:  Proven experience in coaching students to significant rating gains or national/international titles.
Communication:  Fluent in English with the ability to explain "the why" behind the moves, not just "the what."
Tech-Savvy:  Proficiency with Chess Base, Lichess, and Zoom/Google Meet for remote instruction.
