N. L. Dalmia High School Established in 1991 under the N. L. Dalmia Educational Society, the school carries over 30 years of legacy in delivering high-quality ICSE education. A co-educational English-medium institution, it currently serves around 3,000 students across Pre-Nursery to Grade 12. The school emphasizes a holistic education rooted in values, character formation, and digital pedagogy. Facilities include smart classrooms, science and computer labs, auditorium, art & music studios, library, and sports infrastructure

Role Overview
The Principal will serve as the chief academic and administrative leader of the institution, responsible for shaping the school's vision and driving excellence across all levels. Working closely with the CEO and Managing Council, the Principal will ensure seamless coordination of academic strategy, operations, faculty development, student success, and stakeholder engagement.
The ideal candidate will be a visionary educator, an operationally strong administrator, and a collaborative leader capable of nurturing a progressive and values-driven learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Define and implement the school's long-term vision, mission, and strategic goals in collaboration with the CEO and Managing Council.
Lead institutional planning initiatives to ensure sustained academic and operational excellence.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Academic Excellence
Oversee curriculum planning, academic delivery, assessments, and educational outcomes.
Ensure high standards in teaching-learning processes aligned with ICSE/CBSE frameworks.
Promote innovative teaching methodologies and digital pedagogy.
Drive faculty development programs, mentoring, and academic training initiatives.
Operational Oversight
Supervise school operations including administration, budgeting, facilities management, compliance, and campus safety.
Ensure adherence to statutory, board, and institutional regulations.
Strengthen systems, processes, and operational efficiencies across departments.
Staff Leadership & Development
Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development of teaching and non-teaching staff.
Build a collaborative, motivated, and high-performing team culture.
Encourage leadership development and succession planning within the institution.
Student Development & Wellbeing
Promote a balanced educational environment focused on academics, co-curricular activities, discipline, values, and emotional wellbeing.
Encourage student leadership, creativity, innovation, and holistic growth.
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and student-centric school culture.
Community & Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships with parents, alumni, educational partners, and the larger community.
Represent the institution in academic forums, networking events, and external engagements.
Foster transparent communication and stakeholder confidence.
Governance & Reporting
Work closely with the Managing Council and CEO on institutional planning and reporting.
Present periodic updates on academic performance, operations, compliance, and strategic initiatives.
Ensure implementation of policies and governance guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience
Master's Degree in a relevant school subject is mandatory.
M.Ed. and/or Ph.D. will be considered an added advantage.
Minimum 10–15 years of experience in senior school leadership roles.
At least 5 years of experience as Principal/Vice Principal of a large school.

Experience with ICSE and/or CBSE educational systems is essential.
Strong expertise in academic administration, institutional planning, and people management.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in technology-enabled learning and digital education practices.
