Position Overview
The Field Officer (School & Student Outcomes) is a frontline implementation role responsible for translating district-level education and skill development plans into measurable student-level outcomes . The position plays a critical role in strengthening classroom delivery, student engagement, competency-based learning, and community participation in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023 .
Working closely with government and aided schools, teachers, students, parents, and education functionaries at the cluster, block, and district levels, the Field Officer ensures effective implementation of skill education and experiential learning activities. The role requires daily school engagement, hands-on academic support, regular monitoring of learning outcomes, and strong coordination with the District Lead and government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
School-Level Implementation
Support assigned government and aided schools in implementing skill education and experiential learning activities as per approved district and state plans.
Ensure the regular conduct of skill sessions, hands-on practical's, projects, and assessments in classrooms and laboratories.
Work closely with school heads and teachers to integrate competency-based pedagogy and assessment practices aligned with NCF 2023.
Support schools in maintaining schedules, lesson plans, and records related to skill education activities.
Student Engagement & Outcomes
Facilitate student orientation sessions on skills, careers, and local employment opportunities for students in Grades 6–12.
Track student attendance, participation, competencies acquired, and assessment results regularly.
Identify at-risk students (low attendance, learning gaps, or drop-out risk) and coordinate remedial actions with teachers and school leadership.
