This is a full-time remote role for a WSDC Debate Mentor. The Debate Mentor will be responsible for conducting debate sessions, preparing students for various competitions, providing feedback, developing curriculum materials, mentoring students on public speaking and research skills, and fostering a supportive learning environment. The Debate Mentor will collaborate with other educators and continuously adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students.
Conduct training sessions to enhance students' debate skills.
Lead engaging training sessions to enhance students' debate skills across various formats, including WSDC.
Prepare students for competitions with mock debates and strategic guidance.
Provide mentorship and constructive feedback.
Actively participate in competitions as a coach or judge.
Collaborate to create a supportive debate environment.
Guide students in developing critical thinking and effective communication skills through debate and writing.
Create an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages student participation and fosters learning.
Demonstrate a deep commitment to mentoring, with a focus on nurturing and developing the skills of young students.
Make an impact on students' lives across diverse backgrounds and help them transform into future leaders.
