Role Description  The Culinary Arts Chef at Culinary Craft is a part-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The chef will design and deliver engaging cooking classes, demonstrating techniques, supervising practical sessions, and ensuring learner safety and hygiene in the kitchen. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and recipes, evaluating student performance, and providing constructive feedback. The role involves collaborating with the team to develop new course content, maintaining high standards of presentation and food quality, and supporting occasional events, workshops, or demonstrations.

The chef is expected to foster an inclusive, encouraging learning environment that supports students at all skill levels.

Qualifications
Strong culinary skills, with proven hands-on experience in professional or teaching kitchens.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen operations, with the ability to enforce and model best practices.
Effective communication and instructional skills, including the ability to explain techniques clearly and support diverse learners.
Organizational and time-management abilities to plan classes, manage multiple batches, and coordinate ingredients and equipment.
Relevant culinary education or certification from a recognized institute; government-recognized qualifications are an advantage.
Experience in culinary training, workshops, or chef instructor roles is preferred.
Adaptability, creativity, and a passion for mentoring aspiring chefs and contributing to course development.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and maintain a professional, collaborative attitude within a team-oriented environment.
