Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Chemistry Content Creator and Facilitator. The role involves designing clear, conceptually strong Chemistry learning materials such as lesson plans, explainer notes, slide decks, practice questions, and assessments for middle and high school learners. The team member will create interdisciplinary, real-world and AI-era applications of Chemistry that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and curiosity.
Responsibilities include facilitating live or virtual learning sessions, guiding students through inquiry-based activities, and adapting instruction to diverse learning needs. The role also includes collaborating with educators and curriculum designers, iterating on content based on feedback and learning data, and staying current with both Chemistry developments and innovative teaching practices.
Qualifications
Strong subject-matter skills in Chemistry, including conceptual clarity and ability to explain topics across school-level curricula.
Content development skills such as curriculum design, lesson planning, assessment creation, and using digital tools to create engaging learning materials.
Facilitation and teaching skills, including experience leading classes or workshops, managing group dynamics, and supporting diverse learners.
Skills in inquiry-based, application-oriented, or interdisciplinary pedagogy, with an emphasis on critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world connections.
Comfort using technology for remote instruction, including video-conferencing platforms, online whiteboards, and learning management or collaboration tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make complex ideas accessible and engaging for school-age learners.
Demonstrated curiosity about AI, emerging technologies, and their intersection with education, along with openness to experimentation and continuous learning.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science Education, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, instructional design, or education-focused content creation is strongly preferred but not strictly required.
Fluency in speaking Hindi and English
