Position Overview
MIT School of Allied Healthcare Sciences (SOAHS) at MIT ADT University is inviting applications from experienced academic professionals, clinical specialists, and industry experts for the position of  Visiting Faculty  across undergraduate programs.
The ideal candidates will bring strong clinical domain expertise, advanced research exposure, and a passion for teaching to deliver high-quality academic instruction, lead practical training sessions, and mentor students.

Key Domain Specializations
Applications are invited for teaching specialized modules under the following undergraduate programs:
1.

B.Sc. Medical Imaging Technology
Key Teaching Areas:  Basics of Radiation Physics, Radiology Clinical Education, Conventional Radiography and Equipment, Clinical Radiography positioning.

2.

B.Sc. Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre (OT) Technology
Key Teaching Areas:  Basics of Biomedical Sciences in Surgery and Anaesthesia, Surgical Instrumentation, OT Sterile Techniques & Infection Control.

3.

B.Sc. Cardiovascular Technology
Key Teaching Areas:  Basics of ECG, Exercise ECG and TMT.

4.

B.Sc. Nuclear Medicine Technology
Key Teaching Areas:  Fundamentals of chemistry, Mathematics in Nuclear Medicine, Solid State Physics and Electronics in Nuclear Medicine.

Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Delivery & Instruction
Design, prepare, and deliver engaging lectures, clinical case discussions, and hands-on laboratory/clinical demonstrations for M.Sc. students as per the university syllabus.
Integrate contemporary clinical practices, recent technological advancements, and evidence-based protocols into the curriculum.
Conduct clinical training sessions and bedside teaching in affiliated hospitals/labs where applicable.
2. Assessment & Evaluation
Formulate internal evaluation components, including assignments, case presentation rubrics, mid-term tests, and semester examination question papers.
Evaluate theory answer scripts, practical exams, viva-voce, and clinical logbooks in a timely manner.
3. Mentorship & Student Guidance
Guide postgraduate students in their dissertations, research projects, journal clubs, and clinical case presentations.
Mentor students on industry trends, clinical ethics, professional certifications, and career opportunities in allied healthcare.
4. Curriculum & Academic Enhancement
Collaborate with the Board of Studies (BoS) to review, update, and align domain-specific course content with international standards and industry requirements.
Participate in academic seminars, workshops, and guest lecture series organized by the institute.

Qualification & Experience Requirements
Essential Qualifications
Master’s Degree:  M.Sc. in the respective domain (Medical Imaging Technology / Anaesthesia & OT Technology / Cardiovascular Technology / Nuclear Medicine Technology) from a recognized university/institute.
Alternative Medical/Clinical

Qualification:

M.D. / DNB in Radiology, Anaesthesiology, Cardiology, Nuclear Medicine, or relevant allied branches (for medical experts interested in clinical faculty roles).

Desirable Qualifications
Ph.D.  in Allied Health Sciences, Medical Imaging, Medical Physics, Cardiopulmonary Sciences, or related biomedical fields.
Certifications from recognized regulatory/professional bodies (e.g., AERB certification for Nuclear Medicine / Radiology faculty).

Work Experience
Teaching

Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years of postgraduate/undergraduate teaching experience in a recognized academic institution or university hospital.
Clinical/Industry

Experience:

Minimum 3+ years of hands-on clinical experience in tertiary care hospitals or specialized diagnostic centers using modern diagnostic and therapeutic modalities.

Key Competencies & Professional Attributes
Subject Mastery:  Deep theoretical knowledge paired with current clinical expertise in high-end medical technologies.
Pedagogical

Skills:

Proficiency in modern instructional design, active learning strategies, and digital teaching platforms (LMS, interactive boards).
Communication:  Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to explain complex technical concepts effectively.
Professional Ethics:  High commitment to academic integrity, clinical ethics, and radiation/patient safety standards.
