Role Description  The Child Development Specialist is a full-time, remote role focused on supporting children with neurodevelopmental differences and their families. In this position, the specialist conducts developmental assessments, creates individualized care plans, and provides guidance on strategies to support cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with clinical and therapeutic team members, delivering parent education sessions, documenting progress, and adjusting interventions based on ongoing observations and feedback.

The specialist will engage families via virtual sessions, provide practical recommendations for home and school environments, and contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions. This role also involves maintaining accurate records, following evidence-informed practices, and participating in continuous training to stay current with developments in child psychology and neurodevelopment.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in  Child Development  and  Psychology , with the ability to apply theory to practical, family-centered interventions.
Demonstrated experience  Working With Children  in clinical, educational, or therapeutic settings, including diverse developmental and behavioral needs.
Skills in  Parent Education , providing clear guidance, coaching, and support to caregivers to implement strategies kground in Psychology , special education, Early intervention  or related fields.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, multidisciplinary team environment, with strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, learning differences, or sensory challenges is preferred.
Comfort with telehealth platforms, digital documentation systems, digital efficiency  and maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
