Role Description The Student Service Officer is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting learners throughout their academic journey across Westford Global Education’s programs. Day-to-day activities include responding to student inquiries, providing guidance on academic procedures, and coordinating with internal teams to address student needs. The role involves assisting with admissions and onboarding, maintaining accurate student records, and ensuring timely communication about schedules, policies, and support services.
The officer will also handle student concerns with a customer-focused approach, facilitate referrals to counseling or career guidance where appropriate, and contribute to continuous improvement of student services processes. Collaboration with academic, operations, and counseling teams is key to delivering a consistent, high-quality learner experience in a global, online environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, provide clear information, and maintain a professional, student-centered approach.
Candidates should possess Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to offer basic academic and career guidance and refer learners to specialist support when needed.
Candidates should possess Student Affairs experience to support admissions, onboarding, learner engagement, and general academic administration.
Candidates should possess proficiency in using digital tools, student information systems, and online communication platforms in a remote, global education setting.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, business administration, or a related field are preferred.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate cultural sensitivity when interacting with an international student body.
Previous experience in higher education, online learning, or student support roles is an advantage.
