Part Time - SAT Math Tutor

Role Description   This is a part-time, remote SAT Math Tutor role. The tutor will conduct live online sessions to teach SAT Math concepts, including algebra, problem solving, and data analysis, following AP Guru’s curriculum and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, assigning and reviewing practice problems, tracking student progress, and providing clear feedback to students and families. The tutor will also help students develop test-taking strategies, maintain consistent communication through digital platforms, and contribute to a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Mathematics, including SAT-level content and Algebra.
Experience in Online Tutoring and Tutoring, with the ability to engage students in a virtual classroom.
Excellent Communication skills, including clear explanation of complex concepts and active listening.
Prior experience with standardized test preparation (SAT or similar) is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a degree program in Mathematics, Engineering, Sciences, Education, or a related field preferred.
Reliable internet connection, comfort with online teaching tools, and ability to work flexible hours aligned with student schedules.
Demonstrated patience, professionalism, and commitment to supporting diverse learners.
