Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Preschool Teacher role based at the Credo Joy centre in Dhanbad. The Preschool Teacher will design and deliver age-appropriate learning experiences for Playgroup, Nursery, Jr. KG, or Sr. KG children, using play-based and child-centered teaching methods. Responsibilities include planning daily lessons, implementing the preschool curriculum, facilitating group and individual activities, and creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
The role involves observing and documenting children’s progress, supporting social-emotional development, and maintaining clear, respectful communication with parents and guardians. The Preschool Teacher will collaborate with colleagues, participate in training and school events, and uphold Credo Joy’s standards for child safety, well-being, and joyful learning.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Early Childhood Education and Kindergarten teaching, with a strong understanding of developmental milestones and age-appropriate practices.
Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to design structured, engaging, and play-based learning experiences.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for interacting effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Preschool Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
Prior teaching experience in a preschool or kindergarten setting, preferably in play-based or child-centric environments.
Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere, with strong classroom management and child safety awareness.
Comfort with basic digital tools or ERP systems for parent communication and documentation.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development.
