Biology Subject Matter Expert

We are looking for experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Biology to support an eLearning and AI-based education project.

The role will primarily involve reviewing academic content and evaluating content generated/processed through an AI-powered learning platform to ensure subject accuracy, conceptual clarity, quality and relevance.

This is a freelance, project-based opportunity suitable for teachers, professors, academic content experts, curriculum specialists and experienced subject matter experts who are interested in flexible project work.

Key Responsibilities Review and validate academic content for

Biology.
Check content for conceptual accuracy, factual correctness and clarity.
Review AI-generated academic content and identify errors, gaps or inconsistencies.
Evaluate AI platform outputs from a subject-matter perspective.
Verify questions, answers, explanations, examples and solutions.
Identify incorrect or misleading AI-generated responses.
Provide clear feedback and corrections wherever required.
Ensure content is appropriate for the intended academic level.
Review content for logical flow, difficulty level and learner understanding.
Collaborate with the content and eLearning team to improve the quality of the platform.

Requirements:

A Master’s Degree is mandatory.
Strong conceptual understanding of the respective subject.
2+ years of teaching, academic content development, curriculum development or subject-review experience preferred.
Experience in reviewing educational/academic content will be an advantage.
Good written English and strong attention to detail.
Ability to identify errors in AI-generated content and provide accurate corrections.
Comfortable working with online platforms and digital tools.
Basic familiarity with AI tools / AI-generated content is an added advantage.
Ability to work independently and meet project timelines.
