Project Manager, Project & Program Management, Operations Management

The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end execution of hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise Data Center projects with a focus on MEP systems, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to quality standards, budget compliance, safety requirements, and successful commissioning and handover. The incumbent will lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with consultants, contractors, OEMs, clients, and internal stakeholders to deliver mission-critical infrastructure from project initiation through commissioning and handover.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (MEP Background)
Master's degree in Business Administration or Project Management (preferred)

Work Experience:

15-17 years of overall experience in project management and execution.
Minimum 8+ years in Data Center project execution.
Proven experience in:
Hyperscale Data Centers
Colocation Facilities
Mission Critical Infrastructure
MEP Design & Execution
Testing & Commissioning
Client Handover & Operations Readiness

Key Responsibilities of Role

Project Execution & Delivery
Manage complete Data Center project lifecycle from planning, mobilization, execution, commissioning, and client handover.
Lead execution of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) systems including:
HT/LT Electrical Systems
DG Systems
UPS Systems
Chillers and Cooling Infrastructure
CRAH/CRAC Units
BMS/DCIM Systems
Fire Alarm & Fire Protection Systems
Structured Cabling & ELV Systems
Ensure adherence to project schedules, milestones, budgets, and quality objectives.
Drive project progress reviews and monitor critical path activities.
Manage Testing & Commissioning activities from L1 to IST (Integrated Systems Testing).
Coordinate design reviews and implementation in line with approved standards and client requirements.
Budget Management:  Ensure effective resource utilization and manage project budgets to achieve cost efficiency.
Cross Functional

Collaboration:

Work with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing issues proactively to ensure success.
Progress Monitoring:  Monitor and report on project progress, maintaining effective communication with stakeholders and senior management.
Stakeholder Management:  Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and status updates to keep stakeholders informed.
Continuous Improvement:  Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices to enhance project delivery.
Project Closure & Handover:  Oversee project completion and ensure a smooth handover to clients.
