Flecks Labs
is a Hyderabad-based game studio building and scaling Roblox titles — anime ARPGs, simulators, and more. We're looking for a game designer who plays Roblox seriously and can turn that instinct into systems that retain and monetize.
What you'll do
Design core loops, progression, and meta systems for new and live Roblox titles
Build and balance economies: currencies, gacha rates, pity systems, sinks and faucets, pricing
Own the first-session experience — the first 5 minutes decide whether a player stays
Write clear design docs and specs the engineering team can build from without guesswork
Dig into retention and monetization data, form hypotheses, and ship changes against them
Tear down top Roblox games and pull out what's actually working and why
What we're looking for
2+ years designing games in Roblox
Real fluency in Roblox as a platform: the discovery algorithm, what makes a game trend, why certain genres pop
Strong economy and progression instincts — you can model a curve in a spreadsheet and defend it
Comfortable with data: retention curves, funnels, conversion, ARPDAU
You play a lot of games and can articulate why something feels good, not just that it does
Nice to have
Luau scripting or Roblox Studio prototyping ability
Experience with gacha, battle pass, or live-ops content cadence
Anime/manga literacy — a lot of our audience lives there
